Private Wheel Lessons
Individual lessons for ages 16 and older.
INTRODUCTORY LESSON
New students begin with a 90-minute session to learn the basics of centering clay on the wheel and are guided through the steps of making a small cylinder or bowl. This is a private version of our Test-drive mini-class where you will work one-on-one with the instructor and receive individual instruction. We will provide plenty of clay for you to use during the lesson, and at the end you will choose your 2 best pieces for us to fire and glaze.
$130; Clay, firing fees, glazing, and use of studio tools included in the lesson price.
You may add one person to your private lesson for an additional fee of $95. (Please email us after you register if you'd would like to add someone to your lesson. *We cannot accommodate children age 15 and younger in our studio*)
CONTINUING LESSON: Take additional private lessons after the introductory lesson These lessons are 2 hours long and include 1 hour of instruction and 1 hour of free time to practice and build skills. You will be able to keep up to 3 pieces per lesson to trim and finish at future lessons or to have us glaze and fire for you. if you have previously attended a Test Drive, you are ready for a continuing lesson.
$100; Clay, firing fees, glazing, and use of studio tools included in the lesson price.
